Heat, sun and
wind: summer escorts us the whole day. First stop: Monticelli d’Oglio. Sergio guided us
through the streets and the hills of the little town as he told us legends,
stories about ancient medieval courts and let us taste the fruits of the
mulberry. The tour went on with a little walk over one of the Oglio river
footbridges. The footbridge was partly financed by our guide, once mayor of the
small town.

A classmate riding a horse at the horse riding school |
At lunch, we
enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the
horse riding school “San Giorgio”, while eating a delicious pizza all
together. After watching some videos, an exciting activity with a horse and a
vaulting demonstration, Dalmazio and his horse Tobia led us into a new and more
spiritual dimension with our new four hooved friends. One of the students had
his finger bitten by a funny pony and
some others tried to ride a horse in an unrestrained gallop and by then the
time to go home had come, and so we went home.
